    Fisherman's Wharf Monterey

    Monterey's Fisherman's Wharf was built in 1846 to accommodate trading vessels. Today, the focus has changed, but the wharf is still a working pier. The wharf is one of the best places to buy fresh fish, and outstanding restaurants and nautical shops draw visitors year round.

    Cannery Row

    Cannery Row was once the site of numerous seafood harvesting and canning operations. Overfishing and poor conservation methods exhausted the resources, and the last major canning operation shut down in 1973. Today, Cannery Row is home to numerous tourist attractions, including the Monterey Aquarium, as well as restaurants, shops, and numerous family entertainment places.

    Old Town Caramillo
    Old Town Camarillo offers a variety of shops, galleries, restaurants, antique shops and historic buildings. The district stretches down Ventura Blvd from Carmen Drive to Lewis Road. Every Saturday there is a farmers market.

    Stearns Wharf Santa Barbara

    Constructed in 1827, Stearns Wharf was built on what was then the longest deep-water pier between Los Angeles and San Francisco. It served the freight and passenger shipping needs of the area for over a quarter of a century, and over the years slowly was turned into a tourist attraction. The first restaurant was built here in 1941, and many more have followed over the years. Today it is the most visited landmark in Santa Barabara, and restaurants and a variety of other merchants are all located here.
